In a migration from MS-Windows to Ubuntu I have been looking at ways to convert a FileMaker database to something else which doesn't require MS-Windows.

This week I ran across a Filemaker alike application for Linux (and MS-Windows), called glom : http://www.glom.org/

See screenshot : http://www.glom.org/screenshots/glom_data_details.png

I've tested it, and I'm amazed how good it is, from what I've seen from it so far.

My question, is how much work would it be to convert the FileMaker database into the PostgreSQL based glom ?
I'm a sysadmin, but not a programmer, and my experiences with MySQL and PostgreSQL have been fairly basic.
