i'm using Jaunty with Firefox 3.0.10 with Shockwave added on. i'm not able to view photobucket.com at all. i just get a black window in the browser. before upgrading, i could see most of the site's page, but i wasn't able to use their app for loading new photos to the site. i don't have any idea what to do to view the site, let alone load pics. youtube.com works for me and that used to be a problem.

No, sorry

getting breakfast

I need to know the add-ons for firefox you got something messed up...

Already looked into the Shockwave application I know it is a flash based player...

Curious to see if this is a gnome setting issue or a possible compiz or firefox issue....

I'm thinking Shockwave is not supported for use with other plug ins which so many other applications are...

I would try to reinstall shockwave just not sure if this is an app directly approved by Ubuntu or did you updated the repository's to edit this file...

I'll do my homework on subject just give me 2 hours got to get to the store and get more charcoal for my chicken I'm smoking out side...

Went and caught Terminator: Salvation at the movies yesterday...

Write me I will get back to this topic...

as far as I know the photobucket uploader uses java and I don't see java in your list of plugins on firefox use this command to install it:

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-fonts sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin
or just install the medibuntu repos

also you have Shockwave Flash-- 9.0 r999 mine is version 10.0 r22

thanks for your assistance. i ran the apt-get for Java and it installed, but now, i see big white blur instead of a big dark blur. anyway, i can see photobucket, still can't upload to it. that's OK, still got my MS partition.
