As my video card has been abandoned by ATI (X600), I am considering a replacement.
What do people recommend for a reliable card for Linux? I don't need top of the line graphics, just something that will run XOrg, Compix, and the occasional OpenGL app (GoogleEarth, Celestia, Quake III).
ATI obviously out. Is NVidia any better from a support point of view?
Any options out there with a good open source driver?
