Hi,
On a very slow laptop of a friend I installed a while ago xubuntu.
Now, it says a new version is available: 8.04 LTS
Did I install the LTS version?
Can I switch to the normal?
Thanks!

Hi LonelyStar.
If you click System> administration> system monitor> system it will tell you which version is installed.
The LTS is rock solid stable, so don't worry.

Hi,
But I want 9.04! Some things are not working, and I have seen them fixed by upgrading to 9.04.
It does not give me the choice of an upgrade, is there anything I can do?
Thanks!
Nathan

Oh, o.k.
I think you have to upgrade to 8.10, and then to 9.04
There is a guide for doing that.

Another option is to burn a 9.04 disk, and install.
