problem with ubuntu 9.04 and grapic card

i install ubuntu 9.04
and i have a grapic card nvidia

the max resulushen that i have with the nvidia 96 driver is 640x480

i tryed to install another driver nvidia 173
but it wont work
i cant even see it in the driver maneger

You may give the "restricted drivers" for nVidia cards a try. That fixed my issues with my card after I installed. Just a thought. :)
