Not regular multiline you can do with a bunch of \n's, but one such that the prompt takes lines under the one where you type the commands, like this:

|user@host>
+--[22/05
I remember seeing prompts that set a clock that's always at the top of line of the terminal, so I guess it is possible to do this the same way. Any help?
