Multiple desktop problem

Hi guys, since i updated my ubuntu to 9.04 I have been notice some bugs that i didnt had in my previous near perfect ubuntu 8.10

I have the desktop cube in my ubuntu and now every time i click in the other 3 desktops the up system bar gones, plus if I try to drag a page to another desktop it always stays in the first one.

Any ideas why is not working properly?

are you using Compiz?
if yes thy and reset it (evt. uninstall/install), and se if that helps?

I am using compiz and once updated to this 9.04 ubuntu i had to edit a text file to exclude my gfx card from the blacklist.

How do I unistall it completely from the console?

So I am going turn it off
The code to remove it and then install it again.

If doesnt work proper I will format and install Ubuntu 8.10 cause I never had troubles until now

I just give up, I try everything. I am going to install ubuntu 8.10

This 9.04 just sucks
