well i have a crazy idea i would like to install ANY Linux on a Ipaq, however there is a few things i need out of it.
-i must be able to detect and use any USB device i may hook up to it.
-i must be able to run WINE or any other Linux-to-windows emulator.
-OR i need to install windows 2000 on the little bugger.
here is what i wish to use it for i'm a avid electric RC'er there is a ESC (electronic speed controller) that uses a laptop/pc(via a usb cord and a proprietary interface adapter) to change the settings in the ESC, i would like to use the Ipaq i have hanging around to do this instead of buying a laptop for this.(it's easier to use the Ipaq then whip out a laptop.)
i know this is crazy thinking on my part, but can it be done?(i know the Linux part can be but everything else, i don't know.)
link to the ESC software i need to use. (http://www.castlecreations.com/downloads.html)
thank you for all your help.
