I can't (well i did once, but was not repeatable).

my favorite trick, is to twiddle my thumbs, however I move one thumb clockwise, and the other counterclockwise. I try to keep them in synch. My dad taught it to me, but i've never seen anyone else do it. took some years to master.

I've never written a 6 any other way, I always start with the inside. The other way seems weird to me.
