Hello, Ubuntuforums community. :)

I bought myself a new Videocamera, to produce Videoclips for my Rockband (We don't want to go in a studio). It's the Canon Legria HF200.

Problem is: All the videos I make with this Camera are in the format MTS.
I can play this format with Kdenlive - which crashes almost instantly if I insert them. I can also play it with VLC, but if I try to convert, I'm keep getting this error message:

"Streaming / Transcoding failed:
VLC could not find encoder "MPEG AAC Audio"."

At every format I want to use as output, I get those messages. What can I do about it? I appreciate every help. ¦D

Best regards, Puzzlenoise.
