I would like to have widgets (time, date , cpu info) in ubuntu 9.04 jauty just like in openSUSE i.e KDE or Vista. I've to use GNOME , B'se i'm more accustomed to it than KDE.......

I found Screenlets is one software...... are there any more...??
Is there any possibility for this ....... help me;)

i do not know about widgets but ubuntu has screen lets
there the same thing i think there in synaptic

You can use Conky. It's a completely customizable script that can be set to run at bootup.

Conky is just showning cpu info...!!
I need something more !! just like screenlets...

There's also google gadgets, but I prefer screenlet.s
