Hi guys!
Here's the situation. I'm sitting on a HP pavilion laptop. My problem is that the resolution is way too low, it looks completely stupid and is very annoying.
Here is my xorg.conf:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
DefaultDepth 24
EndSection
Section "Module"
Load "glx"
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "fglrx"
EndSection
I am using the ATI proprietary drivers. In screen setting my monitor is not detected, and the highest resolution available is 1280*800. i want *1024 at least.
I have tried with xrandr with no success, of course i could try editing my xorg file, but i didn't want to do that without asking here first.
So, anyone have some suggestions?
Thanks! :)
