reinstall and save Wubi Ubuntu

I have an HP setup with 2 hard drives (with recovery as a partition as "D" on the first). I setup Ubuntu under Wubi on 30 gigs of the second drive. (setup from Windows, of course).
I need to reinstall Vista now. Can I retain my Ubuntu setup on "E"?
How would I setup a grub(?)menu to get to it.
Or would I be better off just removing Ubuntu prior to the re-install and starting over?

You could try using the following link to "move" your Wubi installation out of Windows first, that way, if it works, when you reinstall Windows, you'll still have Ubuntu setup:
