Ram issues

I own an EEE pc and i upgraded to 2 GB ram, and whenever i overclock the CPU, everything freezes and i cant do anything, it even happens to windows, can anyone tell me why this is happening, and give me some instructions? thanks in advance

that means your overclocking to much. you crank it up to the point of instability then backoff a tic till shes stable.

overclocking done wrong can kill your computer. you'd better be willing to sacrifice that computer.

a quick google says eee's are picky about ram modules, so i'm guessing your using 1 it don't like. try looking at whats compatible for the eee model you have.
