i noticed that my comp hadn't done any updates in a while so i went to do it manually through the update manager. About half way though "downloading package information i get this error
W: Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/jaunty/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'medibuntu.sos-sts.com'
W: Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/jaunty/free/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2 Could not resolve 'medibuntu.sos-sts.com'
W: Failed to fetch http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/dists/jaunty/non-free/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2 Could not resolve 'medibuntu.sos-sts.com'
W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
any ideas how to fix this?
as an aside in 8.10 a little notification icon popped up when i had updates, but that doesn't seem to happen any more. any ideas as to how i can get it back (it might have been something that changed with the upgrade to 9.04 -- its not important i just liked it)
