my first compilation, how do i compile fuse

ok i have just downloaded fuse (fuse-0.10.0.2) a zx spectrum emulator it only comes as source code

now i have never compiled before in ubuntu i am a newbie so i am asking please is there a general guide for complete newbies on how to do this
