hi,
i'd like to know if it is possible to create a plain/text document thumbnailer.
i think it would be nice and very efficient. i guess it would be applicable to other types of text documents. in the end, i would like to create a thumbnail of the document with the icon at the bottom right.
maybe i can start with the ooo thumbnailer of minio ?

i run metacity with xcompmgr and gnome-do. with gloobus-preview i don't like to ctrl-c ctrl-space everytime.
so, do you have some ideas of how to do that ?
many thanks in advance
