webcam installation

plzz help me in installing my webcam.it is not working on skype,camaroma,chesse webcam booth.so plzz guide me.
the description is as follows
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0c45:613c Microdia PC Camera (SN9C120)

1. go here http://linuxtv.org/hg/~jfrancois/gspca/

2. click the .bz2 save to desktop

3. extract to desktop

3 go to apps > acessories > treminal

4 type cd <space> "name of extracted folder"

5 type "make"

6 then "sudo make install"

7 go to add remove programmes

8 search cheese

9 install

10 reboot

11 open cheese via apps> graphics> cheese


you should now see it working :) let me know how you get on
