Windows do not appear in Bottom Panel

Some how the windows do not seem to show up on the bottom panel anymore. All the other features seem to work okay, (workspace switcher, show desktop,...). Nothing appears on the panel when the window is maximized or minimized. Any clues why it would stop showing up? Thanks guys!:)

Oh and I am using the default Ubuntu environment.

You must of removed the window list applet.
Right-click on the bottom panel and select "Add to Panel".
Then scroll down until you find the "Window List" applet.
