If I wanted to run the following C program, what packages would I need to install to use gtk+? Can I do this from the synaptic package manager?

#include <gtk/gtk.h>

int main( int argc, char *argv[])
{
GtkWidget *window;

gtk_init(&argc, &argv);

window = gtk_window_new(GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL);
gtk_widget_show(window);

gtk_main();

return 0;
}

the compiler gives me this error: gtk/gtk.h no such file or directory

do I need to do something with the path or such?

Thanks in advance
