View Full Version : [ubuntu] Trouble Booting Windows XP Installation CD

I recently installed the newest version of Ubuntu and, while I like the OS, the poor video performance on my IBM T30 (lack of official drivers for Mobility 7500 series) is more or less forcing me to revert to Windows.

I am unable to boot my Windows XP install disk.

I set the temporary and permanent boot orders in the BIOS and it still goes to the grub menu then loads. I've burned CDs and watched DVDs recently so I know my DVD/CDRW drive is working perfect.

I popped the install disk into a laptop with Vista on it and the disk booted just fine.

Any ideas?
