I have downloaded and installed the ubuntu (jaunty) 9.04. I don't see any problems. I've been looking for video tools and found ubuntu-studio. I can't seem to get it to install. Do I need to remove the original install of jaunty and reinstall the ubuntu studio?

I have Ubuntu Studio on one of my machines. What I did was to tell the installer's partitioner to use the whole disk, which wiped EVERYTHING off the machine, including the XP recovery partition. This suited me fine because I had nothing on the machine that couldn't be recovered if the need arose, and I also had the means to restore the recovery partition through a set of backup disks I made when I first purchased the machine.
