Having a problem installing version 9.04 on my Toshiba Satellite S1800-254 laptop.
Boots from CD ok, choose Install option, normal screen for a while, plenty of hard drive and CD drive activity and then blank screen and no more movement.
Checked a friends install and mine appears to be failing at the point it refreshes the screen and asks for continent and country.
I wondered if this was a display driver problem so I tried the F4 Other Options and use driver disc with my display drivers on it but still no joy.
Can anybody out there help please?
