Recently updated to Jaunty on one machine and have been getting alot of problems with using jfs. Never had this problem before and it seems to only be with jaunty, i went back to hardy just to see if it was maybe a hardware issue.
What happens is most of the time when the system starts i get read-only mount for the root fs. This happens maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 boots. Now Im getting errors with fsck saying it cant fix the fs and gives an error code 1.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this same problem. It is a laptop using a sata drive, but It has no problem with Jfs with hardy or debian 5.0

Now it isnt only JFS in jaunty, it is also EXT4. I have swapped out the drive with a new one, ran all the badblock tests and SMART tests everything is fine on both drives

I can't be the only one.
