Hi there everybody.
I recently installed kubuntu 8.10 64 bits because I really liked kde and felt really good with it.
I didnt installed 9.04 because i posses an ati 1250 express card which has little/bad/no compatibility with the new version (9.04)
Therefore i'll be waiting till the drivers get updated or get a new laptop XD.
Anyway, I have several questions regarding my situation:
-Is there a way to still be receiving updates even if i dont upgrade to 9.04 becaause adept doesnt seem to do anything
-is there a way i can install kde 4.2? (is it even worth it if I already have 4.1)

Any advice regarding this is appreciated, and also any advice regarding hot to use more efficiently kubuntu (been an ubuntu user since I started using linux XD)

Yeah I know the new kubuntu might have better goodies and stuff, but video card compatibility, as I said in the first post, is a major issue, so basically I just want to keep getting updates without the thing that doesn't let my video card work (i think is the new xorg server what causes the problem)
