Hi again :), I'm just happy to have messed up again, otherwise I couldn't get in touch with the community!! ;)
My problem today: I had the Ubuntu 8.10 on my netbook and I installed the Jaunty netbook remix through apt-get upgrade Ubuntu netbook..
It told me, I have to run liloconfig before restarting the system after the installation, but the config then said, I need to setup Lilo by myself. I tried to do that, but than after some time I gave up and thought I'll try again later, leaving the lilo.conf empty.
Well what do you know, my netbook went to hibernate :).
So when he woke up, he loaded only into initramfs and my Lilo is still not set.
I am happy to learn new things, but this is still more I can lookup myself :).
Please.. I know it certainly is an interestng issue for you to solve ;) - I would be really thankfull!
(I have the Lenovo S10e Ideapad - if it matters)
