What if I upgrade

What happened if I upgrade from 8.04 to 9.04.

Also, If i go trough the 8.10 and then 9.04, Would I loose all my configuration (Compiz, themes installed, etc) or the upgrade will keep all this.

Hi, you will need to upgrade to 8.10 first. All your settings and themes should be left untouched.

Either you can do a network upgrade or use an alternate CD.

If you are going to upgrade by the cd method you will need to alternate cd and can download it from here (http://noncdn.releases.ubuntu.com/intrepid/).
