You'd need to re-install.

You can't downgrade in the same way you can upgrade (i.e. keeping your applications and everything else).

You can obviously back up anything you want to a partition/drive and copy it back once you've installed the older version.

This includes backing up/migrating to a partition, your home directory, which will then save all your settings, so that once an app is reinstalled you won't have to reconfigure it to your liking.

If you do choose to do this, be careful to copy all files (including hidden . ones)

Yeah i would say saving your settings and putting them on a fresh install of 8.10
