Search For Items In The Menu?

For those of you who have used KDE4, you may be well aware of the nifty little searh plugin that the developers put into the Kmenu. I would like the same tool in Ubuntu (Gnome). I'm not talking about something Like Tracker or Beagle- I just want it to search for things in my menus. Is there a tool like this available for Ubuntu, which also implements itself into the menu?
