Okay. If you have been in the Community Cafe lately, you might have read one of my posts about my grandmother taking my HP a522n and making me use this 30GB Dell Dimension 4600. I am a little mad, but at least this computer actually has an API slot for my GeForce FX 5700.

The only problem is, my grandmother will complain and try to find ways to blame her computer messing up on Linux. So, I have to keep Windows on the HD, but I was thinking about buying an external HD and put Ubuntu and maybe trying out Arch in the future. Well, here is where I need you. I have found a few external hard drives that held 250-350GB for only 60-70 USD at Walmart and newegg.com. I am just not too sure if they would be good in having linux partitions on them. So, if you will, give me some suggestions.

Oh, almost forgot. Here's a list of a few that I sort of liked the sound and price of:
Toshiba 250GB 2.0 USB ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9209834 )

Toshiba 320GB 2.0 USB ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9209835 )

Seagate Freeagent GO 250GB ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10575419 )

I was just going to get a 250 or 310GB one(maybe 120), but I have no idea if certain brands don't work well with ubuntu.
