Conky is not working !!

Hi, i am new to linux,

i want set up a conky

i installed conky from terminal first with this "sudo apt-get install conky"

then created a folder named "CONKY" in home and in that folder i created a file name "conkyrc" with this code in it

i selected the file from "/user/bin" file name was conky

and rebooted the system but it isn't working

can any one explain me where m wrong ???

m using the latest ubuntu version

but cant figure it out

The file you're meant to edit is .conkyrc - dot files are semi-hidden files for user preferences etc - and it needs to be stored in your home folder - ie, you need to put your conky configuration in /home/[user name here]/.conkyrc

While you're at it, if you're going to be tuning your conky configuration a bit (or if you get sick of killing the conky process and restarting everytime you make a change), you can make it reload the .conkyrc with:
> killall -SIGHUP conky
