Window compact view

Hello, my question may be very simple. I want to view my files in compact mode default. That is to say, almost every time i open a new file browser, i have to change the view to compact view, because i like that view better than icon's or list.
i am wondering if there is a way to make all the file browser window, nautilus windows, show my files in compact mode on default, so i don't have to manually change every window i go into.

Places -> Home -> Edit -> Preferences -> Views -> Use Compact Layout
