So, I have what I think is a rather basic request. (at least, I hope it is.)

Default right click menu behaviour is to grow down and to the right of the mouse button, like this...

However, when the mouse is to close to the bottom of the screen, it grows up from the mouse, and to the right, like this...

I would like to change the second menu, so that when it grows up from the mouse location, the menu items are inverted. IE: I want create folder to be the bottom menu item, followed by create launcher, etc, up to Change Desktop Background, which would be at the very top.

The reason is, I have a rather small laptop (lenovo x200s), and more often than note, the right click menus are bigger than the ones in the pictures above. This leads to the rather annoying case of never quite knowing when it's going to grow down, or when it's going to grow up.

Maybe this doesn't make a lot of sense to people, but if it'ssomething I can change, I would like to do so.

Specs: Running 8.10 with gnome. I would be willing to switch to something else if it would give me what I need.

Thanks for reading :)
