View Full Version : Petition to UK prime minister

This really only applies to UK citizens.

Please petition the Prime Minister on his website to increase the use of non Microsoft Software. The full wording is on the site.

Non Microsoft is good for Linux and is good for Ubuntu....

I saw this note in the Education + Science category. As the number of viewers there is quite limited (mainly scientists I think), then I though it would be good to spread the word here too. Do you want your schools to be forced to use Windows?!

I'll do that right after I sign the petition for him to resign (http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/please-go/).

Right, because it's not like the world is facing more important issues right now.

well, I'm sure that Brown will be gone soon anyway. I see a bigger chance of a petition influencing school choices than persuading a politician to leave!

I don't want Gordon Clown to resign.

He's doing a grand job of ensuring Nu Labia get thrown out at the next General Election

If this thread had concentrated on the issue in the first post it would have been politics directly related to free and open source issues.
