New Jaunty Install Display Problems.

Has anyone experienced not being able to revert to an original screen resolution of 1080 x X 768 and desktop position when dropping down to a lower res? Just installed V9 last night. I was experiencing display problems and tried going to a lower screen res. When reverting back to the original res setting, my desktop shrunk to about 1/2 size and located itself in the upper left corner of the screen.
