I have a problem when trying to upgrade my system. What i did before is this:

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python2.5 10
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python2.6 1
sudo update-alternatives --config python

to use the python2.5 for cedega, because it doesn`t support python2.6

Now when i trying to upgrade the system:

I don`t get it...in /usr/share/python/debian_defaults

# the default python version
default-version = python2.6

# all supported python versions
supported-versions = python2.5, python2.6

# formerly supported python versions
old-versions = python2.3, python2.4

# unsupported versions, including older versions
unsupported-versions = python2.3, python2.4

the default version is set to 2.6

So what could be the problem?

I fix it. :popcorn:

sudo rm /usr/bin/python && sudo ln -s python2.6 /usr/bin/python
