View Full Version : [ubuntu] Battery not detected after upgrading to 9.04

Battery meter worked great before but now there is no Battery shown, just AC. I am sending this on Battery right now but laptop says it is running on AC. Any Ideas?

I'm having the same issue. Or so..

I start correctly and for some minutes my battery is correctly shown, but suddenly Kubuntu 9.04 shows a banner saying the battery has been extracted. It makes it when plugged in, or when on battery and when on battery it just shuts down.

I must say that Vista worked flawlessly and Seven is making it too.
I can run my PR310-X from MSI for about 4-5 hours on battery, but i can't have a portable laptop using Jaunty.

Well, i have found the solution to this problem, it was very easy, but decission very hard.
I'm back to 8.04 and everything is working flawlessly, also 3D acceleration on ATI x1270, and i can say again than a i have a portable laptop.
