How to create a bootable USB drive from Kubuntu 9.04?

only goes as far as 8.04 Hardy, though

that's the problem. Every piece of documentation stops at 8.10 or 8.04.

download unitbootin for the add/remove under applications or synaptic manager or the internet. Download and burn the iso for Kubuntu 9.04 or whatever you want on the usb.

put the iso cd in you drive. and run Unetbootin and use the "from cd" option.
