hi!
i recently installed mythbuntu (latest version) on my mediacenter. after some hours of fight i finally was able to scan and add some channels. mythtv works fine now. unfortunately mythbuntu is not able to find some channels like pro 7, rtl, sat1 etc via DVB-S (i use a skystar 2 pci card).
I tried various settings (transponder number, frequencies etc) but none of them worked. i inserted the transponder data of pro 7 manually, but the scan does not find anything (scan window opens and closes immediately), no error message is displayed.
the missing channels show up connecting a normal dvb-s receiver to my tv.
did not find any help on the internet.
is there someone out there who has (or better: had) the same problem?
