Dock Customization

Hi, Would just like to say first that I am a complete beginner in Ubuntu, and i was wondering if you guys could help me out with something.

Searching for some docks, I stumbled across this one..

However i have no idea how to install it.. was wondering if you guys could tell me how.

I have Ubuntu 9.04 without Compiz

That looks like Avant Window Navigator (awn) its in synaptic
system->administration->synaptic package manager check it and
click apply.Then add to start up if you like all done

The thing you're looking at is actually a skin for Mac OS X's dock. There are two dock apps for Linux: AWN and Cairo. AWN is a bit slicker imo and more popular so try that first.
