Hi I be a newbie downloaded Ubuntu 9.04 yesterday on an old XP box I chose to load inside Windows. I am pretty much from a non technical background so bear with the absence of technical 'speak'. Pretty much til yesterday my only operating experience has been with 'Windows'
I encountered an issue when I opened Ubuntu with the screen resolution settings where the highest setting available is 800 x 600, normally I run at 1024 x 768 (using a space saver monitor i.e. a 26" LCD TV that serves a dual purpose). How can I correct this position so I have higher screen resolution, I hope it is an easy fix????
Cheers
