Sometimes If Im listening to an internet radio station, before they go to a break, they will cut off maybe the last 10 secs of a conversation...Why?

-to keep up with the web stream/get back for live programming even if just on the internet?
-radio is different (versus live/in their target demo) and they cant control an audio stream of commericals on the internet?

Am I the only one who's noticed this?

I know what you mean Matt. My experience of Internet radio has been sketchy at best!

I wonder if it might have to do with the fact it is common for a live broadcast booth to operate on a seven-second delay?

/Prevents things like "F-bombs" and what not...

Now that I knew..Ive been in radio studios broadcasting with friends long enough to realize...Ironically WKQX "Q101" out of Chicago has a 16 second delay.
