Theme and application error

I installed a theme and deleted it... then installed the same them and when i try to install it again i get the error "cannot write over directory" what is my problem here?
The other problem is that i was installing Limewire app and half way through i stopped the installer by error, now when i try to run the installer again it reads "only one software management tool...close, aptitude, update manager..." but i cant figure out how to close anything else.. i cant seem to find any other applications running. Thanks for your help.

I already got the Limewire to reinstall.

Come on, a little bit of help here, where do installed themes go to? I need to delete the old directories i guess in order to be able to reinstall them.
