I am running UBUNTU 8.04 (Hardy) and have kept up with all updates. Kernel is 2.6.24-24 generic
I had GPROFTPD installed and working beautifully but at some point after some updates I cannot open the GUI. I get the following error when attempting to execute GRPOFTPD from the command line as root:
GLib-ERROR **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.16.6/glib/gmem.c:136: failed to allocate 223 bytes
ANy suggestions on how to rectify this? I have tried re-installing GPROFTPD as well as removing it and installing it again.
Thanks!
