using git

Hi all i am trying to learn how to use git for my PXBulletin project and it is so confusing, i cannot find a actual decent tutorial, each one i try never tells me the full details on each command i have to do.

Now using the git gui that github told me to get originally and when i "push" it seems to always fail.

I am so confused i have no idea what i am actually doing!

We might help you more if you give what error you got. But I'm guessing that you might have not configured your SSH key. I don't know much about Git so I can't suggest any tutorial but as far as I've seen, there are some tutorials in its official web site.
