Hello all,

I've been trying to install the hocr application on my Ubunto 9.04, but not the version that is in the Ubunto catalog but rather an updated one. Since it didn't seem to work I contacted the developer, who said that the version is not developed for python 2.6 but to the older version (2.5). I tried to install python 2.5, but since i cannot uninstall 2.6 i think the hocr doesnt recognise 2.5 and still doesnt work.
shall i downgrade my Ubunto?
or is there a way to notify hocr that it has the possibility to use python 2.5??

thanks allot,
and please note that I am not familier with alot of terms...
yaron
