Does Madriva have better driver support than ubuntu?

The titile says it all, just wondering out of curiousity.

It depends, in some cases yes but others no, Mandriva seems to have better monitor support then Ubuntu but its not as good with wireless.

There shouldn't be to much difference, as all distributions use the same basic kerenl. Some distributions do customize the kerenel or use a different version, but the drivers should be the same.
