8.10-9.04 upgrade 'mythtv-common error'

I did the upgrade of my Mythbuntu install from 8.10 to 9.04

I have an very odd issue that has arisen out of the upgrade.
The system seems to still work except for live terrestrial TV D(VB-T)
Sometime when using the Esc button to exit out of a movie it exits out of the Mythtv Frontend back t the Mythbuntu desktop.

I left it for a couple of weeks and just used my old Digital set-top box and did another update tonight (hoping things have been fixed in the meantime) and still have the same problem.

The error page that comes up after the update manager has completed any installs is as follows

There is also a bug report generated. I have tried to lodge the bugreport but everytime something goes wrong with my launch pad login and I lose the bugreport.
Is there anyway for me to find it again after I fix my launchpad login and then manually submit the bugreport?

After this I get the Update is complete screen. In the details section there is a huge amount of information that may possibly help in sorting out this error.
I dont know how to copy this information out of the details section so that I can paste it into this thread. I have tried the classic cntrl+c and cntrl+shift+c and no luck.
How to I copy out of the black details screen so that I can paste the information into this thread?

I have looked into Synaptic Package Manager for any clues (broken, upgradable, etc) but all looks good there as well

renamed mythtv-common to .old and ran an update manager session and all fixed.

sudo mv /root/.mythtv /root/.mythtv.old

I had to create sudo mkdir /home/mythtv before the error when away. Thanks for the info.
