Hello everybody.

I'm running the latest Ubuntu which I installed via synaptic just 48 hours ago. The system is standalone with no windows partition.

The problem I'm facing is that I have a huge CRT Monitor (Digital) I can get the serial if needed? Anyway that largest screen size I can get is 1152 x 864 which makes it look rather like 800 x 600 on this screen.

Is there anyway I can add a few more resolutions to the Gnome Gui please?
Many thanks.
I'm just one program away from being totally windows free. Flash.

Keep well.

Doesn't this also depends on your graphics card ? If that's the largest screen your card can handle ...

Hi there thank you.
Yes it does but prior to this I had windows on the same box, wrote zeros etc. Before I could get some phenomenal screen sizes which I need for graphics work.

I'll undo the box and find out what card it is, I suppose this might be more helpful.

Many thanks.
