Hi all,

Forgive me for being a noob, but I can use some advice on which videocard would suit me best. I play poker for a living and have recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 64bit on this system:

ASUS M2A-VM
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+
6GB RAM

I use one 30" Samsung and one 22" Samsung (both dvi) and obviously wanna profit from the highest resolution possible to multitable. I want to get rid of my Geforce Nvidia 8600GT, cause it simply doesn't work well for some reason. Budgetwise I don't really care, as long as it serves a goal. I don't need to play games or anything (except for poker :)).

How about "MSI GeForce 9600GSO 384MB OC GDDR3"? Will that card suit me and be relatively easy to install?

Ok, bought that one and the same problem arises............. Tried my onboard videocard and it can run 2560x1600, except that I obv don't want that and need 2 screens. I'm thinking it has something to do with the combination of my motherboard and the NVIDIA cards/drivers. Might trying an ATI card help? Like the 'Sapphire Radeon HD 4670 1GB GDDR3'?
